Flouride

Some people disapprove of adding flouride because too much flouride can stain teeth. It adds different elements to the water when you add the flouride as a compound. It uses flouride from a different source from the flouride in toothpaste. Also, sometimes some people use inorganic samples of flouride instead of organic. The compounds combined with the flouride could react with other compounds.

I think that you should be able to put flouride in drinking water and toothpaste. I think you should be able to because in toothpaste it is the element that gets rid of plaque and prevents gingavitis and tooth decay and they are finding more and more ways to make the compound with flouride safer. In drinking water it helps prevent some tooth diseases but they also gives you helpful substances for your body. Also, flouride can’t hurt you as bad as it can help you.

They had to do many things until they could use flouride in all toothpastes and mouthwashes. They had to find the safe amount of flouride that they could put in each bottle or container. They had to find which compounds were safe to use together without reacting or being unsafe. Lastly, they had to find the most safe compound to use with the flouride and without the compound hurting the user of the product.

There are some side affects to adding flouride to drinking water. One of such side affects are that you get some of the different chemicals used so that they can add the flouride. If the chemicals react they might react with something in your mouth or body or with something you eat. Also, you obtain different elements from the compounds combined with to flouride so that it is safe to use the flouride.
